It’s Father’s Day. Sure Miss Him

My dad would be 92 if he were still alive. We went on many motorcycle trips together . The best was from Belfair, Wa to the US GP in 89(? ). Perfect weather after we crossed into California on day 2. Slept under the stars . Eddy Lawson won the race at the Laguna Seca track. We cruised Highway 1 and stopped by Alice’s Restaurant, my favorite ride when I was stationed in Alameda.
In the late 90s he moved to western Wisconsin and he would ride across the state to visit my sister and I three or four times a week on his modified XS 1100. He passed away seventeen years ago at age 74. Sure miss him.

.... even with the passing of 54 years... I think of my Dad.... at times I'll start to do something and ask myself would Dad approve....if I see an old Buick.... moments.. memories flow ..... he was a stand up guy
