This is not meant to disparage the ad I posted below, it’s just to illustrate my point. It always cracks me up when I read Craigslist ads , where the seller states, in the first sentence , that the bike is stock, except for………….about a hundred non stock things and questionable modifications. 🤔 Or worst yet, they claim a bike to be all stock and you can clearly see the bike has tons of non stock work done to it.
My thoughts always go to…..were the engine mods done well? Has reliability been affected? How competent was the mechanic? Maybe it’s just me but I’m always suspicious of what “ the dreaded P.O. did before I got it. 😄

I guess the emblems are stock 🤭

I'll be honest, I"ve purchased a number of used bikes including a used sportster and I personally would keep away from anything beyond a stage 1.
I don't care who did it too.
I know 2 people who had cams, lifters etc done on Harleys and both burned their bikes up running them hard cause well, they had the HP/Torque and they kept wanting to experience it. Each had some sort of failure within 2 years. No thanks.
