It's been a while!

It's been quite a while since I've posted anything about my chop project, so here she is!

Bought it about 3 years ago from @angus67 and have been slowly but surely getting it done. Really hoping to have it done by summer. All that's left at this point is some small fab on the frame (coil mount, fork stops, etc..), finishing the Mirror stainless electronics box, Seat, wiring mock up and tear down for paint! Oh and I need to machine a couple small blinkers

Very please with how it's turning out so far.

Converted the front end to a 91-92 GSXR 750 front end. Everything else I've either bought or built myself.

Any questions? Shoot!

Exhaust looks good too. Did you do the welds? Plan on wrapping them?

Thank you, yes I did. They weren't the best, I got impatient and didn't material prep like I should have lol. No wrap, I polished them and I'll probably throw some clear on em.

Did you chop the original frame or is this a total different frame. Like that you fab stuff yourself - that’s watch we used to do in the 70ties and early 80ties before it all became shelf items

I chopped the frame and got a Voodoo Vintage Hardtail section for it. Thanks! I put myself through college to get a welding education just so I could build this bike. I didn't want to buy everything and then pay someone else to put it all together lol.

I like it - looks good - though to old for hard tail now LOL
