Jay Leno's Burns

I personally love him. Truly passionate about what he does. How many of these vehicles would’ve been lost to time, but he’s lucky enough to have the funds and passion to keep them around. Glad he’s ok

I think most people don't realize that he has almost as many bikes as he does cars. Don't recall the numbers now but it was something like... 180 bikes and 250 cars.

He’s a successful guy, and good for him. I love his passion for all things auto’ and he’s hands on at that too. Naysayers are just jealous hypocrites. I no nothing of his personal life, I just speak as I find.

I love the guy , he did a special once about finding and buying an old Duesenberg car that was stashed in this backyard shed in Los Angeles for something like 60 years. Jay had heard rumors for years that this guy had something special in this shed and Jay would stop by his house every once In a while and ask the guy to tell him what he had. The old guy was cagey about it and wouldn’t say. If I remember correctly , Jay even offered to buy whatever it was, sight unseen and the guy turned him down. Finally the old guy died and Jay bought the car from the widow.
He brought a film crew with him to drag the car out, it was fun to watch! He then got it running and road worthy but didn‘t touch the finish or interior, he just drove it around looking just like the way he found it!

Edit: I found the story

I saw Jay doing his stand up act at an Indian casino here several years ago. If you ever used to watch the Tonight show you’ve heard every one of the jokes he told. 😄 Oh well, it was still fun.

I love Jay as well. Jay Leno's Garage is one of my go-tos on YouTube. I'll have to watch that video Bob. I've not seen it but I've heard that story before. One of my favourites was when he had a young kid on with his 65 or 66 Mustang with the straight 6. Not a special car, but a rare young man with a passion and he had gotten it road worthy with his dad. Jay had met him at a car show and Jay was every bit as interested and keen on the car and conversation as he would be with a Corvette engineer. Super Cool. Yes, his bikes are amazing too!

Well it’s been a bad month for ol’ Jay. He just got badly hurt again, this time while riding one of his vintage motorcycles.
While attempting to pull into a parking lot to check out a problem with his bike, he failed to see a wire that had been stretched across the entrance and he got clotheslined right off his bike, breaking several bones. He is said to be ok though. Poor guy! 😢

"An unmarked wire strung across the lot clotheslined the comedian and tossed him off the bike, which he said kept going without him."

I think I'd be out for my pound of flesh if it was unmarked. :cussing:

Glad he'll be OK.

He's Jay Leno. I fully expect whatever comes of this to be handled out of the public eye.

Depending on what property . But if it was an open space whereto children on bicycles or so Could have legitimate reasons to ride . Then someone can have to go to the Police station. Explaining " Causing Danger "
and in this case " Personal Injury "
Mr Leno does not seem to be an Angry man But he is a Rich man . And can have first class Lawyers
An Accident is an accident but it may well end up in prosecution. ( By standards here ...again depending on what property )
The Sheriff cannot Underperform here without problems.
I would not be surpriced at all if this escalates.

Too bad about the accident. Broken bones are never good especially as we age. I’d imagine the bike would have sustained some serious damage too. I believe most of his vehicles are in great condition so a tumble like this must have left some scars.
