An interesting link to the world biggest aircraft. It's worth a look.

In my pre adolescent stage I was CERTAIN that the B25 was the most perfect warbird ever built. When a B25 (Bielly Boats, B Boats) racing sailboat named "War Bird" came up for sale in 1998 I became a boat owner with years of great racing and successes, losses, fun, adventures and laughs to follow.I was at the Atlanta Air Show yesterday and saw two of those flying. The P51 just went up once but the Corsair went up twice and did a heritage flight with an F18. They also had a B25, an F35 and the Thunderbirds. A pretty good day.
Have you ever had to make a call from a noisy bar in Avalon though? In my pre adolescent stage I was CERTAIN that the B25 was the most perfect warbird ever built. In the 737, I know what I’m looking at. In the Airbus, I don’t. It’s a matter of perspective.
I did many PHRF races to Avalon on a J29 but never had to call from a noisy bar. Boat owner arranged shoreside accommodations.Have you ever had to make a call from a noisy bar in Avalon though?
Ok just checking, I thought with the whole airplane/sailboat connection you could be the rambler from the seven dials? Not really, just thought you might be a Stills fan and find the reference funny.I did many PHRF races to Avalon on a J29 but never had to call from a noisy bar. No. Warbird, a B25 (PhRF 135) regularly beat us (J29, PHRF 111) in local regattas and I commented to fellow crew (on the rail, I was foredeck) that "I wanted that boat..." 7 or 8 years later it was for sale on the opposite coast and I made a deal with the owner over the phone (pre internet). First owner was indeed a B25 pilot.Ok just checking, I thought with the whole airplane/sailboat connection you could be the rambler from the seven dials? It was more the picture of it reminded me of a song/video that I watched on Mtv as a kid (usually when I was skipping school) . I'd never been sailing but looked like an adventure, B25 was my favorite bomber though and the first model I ever put together.No. I started reading his bio and his story is pretty cool. Most of this music is before my time and only discovered in my 20s when "Treetop flyer" got radio play.I am... and I did.
An old, grainy video, but still awesome. A homebuilt RV-4 down in amongst the trees... My kinda flyin'.... and one of Steven's finest.and only discovered in my 20s when "Treetop flyer" got radio play.
I remember that one but don't remember the guys head in it. Mandela effect again, damn that guy! That intro though really got me to appreciate acoustic guitar (even though It's got effects I still consider it acoustic). I had to grow out of the pissed off teenager stage to listen to anything without distortion, chorus or whammy effects that dominated 80' hair bands. Now I can listen to stuff with mandolins and banjos in it but I still got a love for 80s metal just not all the time.An old, grainy video, but still awesome. I may have built (poorly) the same model. I had 4 9x13 framed WW11 aircraft prints hanging on the wall of my bedroom. I only remember the B25 and P51.It was more the picture of it reminded me of a song/video that I watched on Mtv as a kid (usually when I was skipping school) . My first was a Cessna 180. Funny, but I remember the tail#, N7765A, and that was almost 60 years ago. Just don't ask me where I put the 10mm wrench.I may have built (poorly) the same model. I had 4 9x13 framed WW11 aircraft prints hanging on the wall of my bedroom. I only remember the B25 and P51.
Did that guy manage to land that plane?
