Just out of curiosity - Airplane Guys

Is anybody else curious , just how were these flawless, vibration free videos were taken from outside the plane? The camera was not in a fixed position, it was moving around the plane…..while it was in flight!? 🤔 Is it real?

Merlin anyone?
I mentioned this in a previous post, but quite a few years ago, my wife bought me a ride on the Lancaster bomber - the one Jay mentioned. It was certainly a once in a lifetime experience. The noise from the 4 Merlin engines was deafening even with ear plugs and headsets. I’ll try to dig up some pics and post them later. Back when I flew (must be well over 10 years ago), a one hour ride was $2,000cdn iirc. I just looked it up and it’s now $4,300. Expensive but it’s the only one in the world you can still fly around in. The other great part of the flight was to get a true appreciation of what the brave men and women lived through back in the war years. I hope we never see that again.

I share the sentiment. Flew on a B-17 about 20 years ago, I still get goosebumps and misty eyes when I think about it and the kids that flew them.
