Although the venue is close enough to home to ride, I had the privilege of riding to the show in this:

There's a case to be made for bikes that ride on the right hand side of the road to have that. Why do trials bikes have wrong side "sidestands"?
The monkey has all the comfy bits to lounge around on.Somehow forgot to include pics of this Triumph sidecar rig... easily the wildest bike of the show!

Careful who you are referring to as the monkey...seems in many cases its the wife or girlfriend! The monkey has all the comfy bits to lounge around on.
Monkey-ette?Careful who you re referring to as the monkey...seems in many cases its the wife or girlfriend!
For me trouble would come from using the term “the wife.” That’s a no no.Careful who you are referring to as the monkey...seems in many cases its the wife or girlfriend!
I am usually successful using the term "my better half"...For me trouble would come from using the term “the wife.” That’s a no no.
No issue there. “The wife” is objectifying. My wife doesn’t tolerate that. I also have four daughters, so I’ve always been careful with that.I am usually successful using the term "my better half"...
To Grimly's reference to the monkey; we are all of course aware that the sidecar rider is referred to in the sport as the "monkey". This is probably due to the athleticism required.Careful who you are referring to as the monkey...seems in many cases its the wife or girlfriend!
You probably deserve it.Ha, you should here my Wife calls me sometimes!
Holy Crap! How in the heck did he even get an M/C license?Got out again today and I got back before the rain hit. Just some sprinkles for the last couple of miles and as I look out my window it's really coming down. Stopped at the Triumph shop on the way home and found out that the guy I saw ride his new bike into the ditch didn't even make it home. He only made it a couple of miles away and off the road he went. He broke his leg and they have the bike there. Totaled with 3.7 miles on it.
Not that it solves all of the bad rider problems, but in Florida dealers won't let you even test ride without an M/C endorsement. The course is very rudimentary (2 days), but is good enough to get you home. Half the class failed when I took mine. They told me he claimed to have ridden before and I said it must have been something that said briggs and stratton on the motor. The bike he trashed wasn't exactly a powerhouse. It was a CFmoto 300 with all of 29 horse power.
