Just got back from the first ride and this thing really does great out in the woods with two wheel drive. Not what you expected I bet.

It's a Eahora Romeo Pro 2. Not sure how fast yet because it was speed limited from the factory. But I just got into the settings menu and turned it all the way up of course. Should hit 40 mph now. Still have to play with some of the settings but it will tackle some steep trails without any problem. Really have to be gentle with the throttle when taking off. Almost came off it the first time I stopped in the dirt and went to get going again. Both tires started spinning and I wasn't expecting that at all. I think there's a way to set up soft starts but for now I know be very gentle with the throttle on take off.

It's been dry, the colors are muted compared to most years, but with a bit of searching I found some pics to share so you can all get a WI "fall ride".
In and around Devils Lake.

Not a bike ride, but train ride…. Last week we drove 8 hours north to take a train ride 4 hours further north to the Agawa Canyon, in Ontario, Canada. We saw some nice leaf colours but not as spectacular as we had hoped for. We thought maybe we were a week late or early to see the peak colours. It was a nice trip anyway. When we returned home we read an article written by a local arborist who said heavy rains in July, followed by a dry August, caused the trees in many areas to not have vibrant colours on fall foliage this year. After reading this we figured our timing was right but Mother Nature pulled a fast one on us this year.

Low 60s today but sunny. Lifted a mast and sailboat for winter storage this AM. No babysitting duty yet so a 30 minute ride after a week of cold weather. The rain tires(wide deep grooves to channel water) on the tracker are noisy. Who needs a set of "rain" tires?

Then a "sit" and a drink in the garage after grilling burgers for dinner for a granddaughter. Nice full (ish?) moon viewed from my garage.

Thank you, Gary. Maybe the colours are muted but they still look pretty spectacular to yours truly.

It's a funny thing every year, never seem to know when peak Autumn display is happening, first the trees are starting to change and then it's over. Easy to go from anticipation to missed it. And the display varies depending on the weather over the preceding months. And it only lasts till there's high winds.

I'll try and get oot and aboot, try to remember a camera, and try to stop and take photos. No promises . . .

Aye, that went well. Pulled Missy out, kicked her into life and set out, camera in pocket, to photograph the Autumn colours.

We got as far as the nearby village of St Boswells. Felt the engine die, the voltmeter on the ignition circuit went off, coasted to a halt. Cutting a long story short, the wire in/out of the fuse box for the ignition is dodgy - fiddling with it got me home with only one more unplanned stop . . .

However, here's a tree in a garden in St Boswells:

St Boswells is famous for its village green surrounded by chestnut trees, which probably looked fabulous a few days ago but now they are mostly bare:

Home again, in disgrace.

Well, I tried. The fault is related to the incident in Northumberland last month when the fuse box got busted. Since today's unplanned stop, have re-done that cable & connection again, been up the road to Bowden and the bike actually felt better. Pulling like a train in fact.

Bloody motorbikes.

Where I live , in the desert, there are no fall color displays. We have planned trips and overnight stays, in the Northern wooded parts of the state, in the past. And we can never seem to hit it, either we get there and the trees are all bare or the temps haven’t been low enough and it hasn’t happened yet.

Gorgeous day today in the Montreal area; 19*C / 66*F. Although I didn't have the time to do any more tuning (VM-tuning Revisited thread), I rode the SG today and ended up on the shore of the Ottawa river just over the Ontario border. As @gggGary commented, the leaves just don't have the super vibrant hues they normally have, plus the changing colours is happening very late this year in my area. Hope to get a few more rides like this in before the end of the season.
