I should probably take some pictures of rundown trailers and trash along the road.
I knew nothing about it until I moved here about six years ago. There’s a lot of stuff here worth visiting. Mississippi has a rich history. There’s a lot going on here.
Main course at the local juke joint last night. Music was provided by Brian Blake and friends.

was in the Toyota on the way down to JP'sCame down from Land Between the Lakes, got on at Tupelo went down to Jackson (it got dark, and I needed to head east).

90mi run on Sunday 50s at home 40s on the mountain. Stopped for one pic and of course 1/8 mi down the road was a better shot of one of the mtn passes. Next time.

I was gifted a pair of Thinsulate gauntlets in 1984. I believe the brand is Olympia. They’ve been keeping my hands warm for a long time. They’re good down into the 20s. They’re still in perfect condition after all these years, but winter is very short here.
The season between damn my hands are froze and crap they salted the roads is usually pretty short.

It’s hard to believe it was eight years ago I showed up here with “My 60th birthday present” but alas it’s true. After a brutally hot summer, our beautiful winter weather has finally arrived, in recent weeks we’ve had some much needed rain and this morning when we went out for breakfast it was a brisk 38 degrees. ( Don’t laugh, we are desert dwellers, for us that is cold)
After coming home , I backed Big Red out of the garage to go for a ride. Just ran around old familiar roads, the Kansas City / Texas Rangers spring training ball park, a community park and on and on.

The weatherman said it was going to be sunny and in the mid 50's today. He was definitely wrong. That red symbol in the middle is the grip heaters on max.

That's me and a few others on this forum. Riding is essentially done unless we have an exceptional day. Nothing in the 10 day forecast makes me think that's gonna happen. Tucked my 650 D into its wintering spot tonight and have been spending my shop time rebuilding a snow blower attachment for the tractor! Florida for me when winter really hits.

Well it’s a great looking bike Gary, I hope you get a lot of enjoyment from it. You say JP has one as well? Maybe a little moto camping trip in the future?
