Manage to get my first ride of the year in.
Helped my brother-in-law unload a ton of wood pellets,
then a run to the store for smokes and home.
50 degrees when I left 1\4 mi down the road started sprinkling
wind picked up, flurries and 41 by the time I get home.
Only added up to 20 miles but it was nice to get out. :)

We've had a couple days of "False Spring" weather, 60 degrees and sunny once the morning fog burns off around 10'ish it starts warming up nicely.

I had too many doctors appointments during said weather to get out and it was driving me crazy...until today and it was great.

Had to move some rolling frame project 2 strokes :banghead: outta the way to dig Ruby out, but she's always ready to go at a moment's notice. :bike::heart:

Beautiful bike Vincenthdfan!
I've been looking at Roadkings and Heritage Softails lately. What year is yours and how long have you had it?

Its a 2001 FLHRI (Fuel Injected) Road King and I've had it since around 2002. We've ridden 80,000 wonderful, fun filled miles together.

I added a Mustang seat for comfort and softail handlebars for a better, more comfortable position as well. These are the same bars all of the Police Road Kings use too, so I figured if they were comfy enough for them, they'd be the one's to use...they've been great.

I also installed OEM electronic cruise control that's intuitive just like a car for those long highway trips as well as heat demon heated grips.

Yeah, she's part of the family and isnt going anywhere.

I rarely see Silver Wings in my area but I see a lot of Suzuki Burgmans which is pretty much the same concept. I’ve often thought they would be a perfect around town bike, with long enough legs for some longer rides. And I love the under seat trunks!
Around town or across the country the SilverWing can do it all...56L under the seat..Burgman is bigger..heavier and absolutely more troublesome to do routine maint. than the Silverwing..with the Burgman body work has to come off on the SWing nothing has to come off in most cases..and maint. intervals are longer on the Honda..they are pretty much bullet proof...SWing is 500# the Burgies are closer to 600#...My 1st SWing had 103000 and was still going when I sold it..I just wanted something with less miles and lots of upgrades..this one has only 13500 miles!

I was not aware of that, that’s good to know! 👍🏻
