Just Ride.

Great photos too. That town hall - sure I've seen it before, was it your polling station?
Thnx. Yeah I've gotten to the point where you've seen the highlights in a 50 mile radius of the SOIR!
Yes our local government unit, and where we vote.

VERY up to date inside.
We even stopped using the wood stove and have a propane furnace now (Only lit on meeting nights.) ;)
Put a portapotty in the parking lot for voting day. :D

Took a ride to San Gregorio, CA. Stopped at the general store and met a father son duo with a beautifully restored 1967 Aston Martin DB6. They wanted to talk about the XS, I was like ‘forget that, let’s talk about your car’. Here is the shot of the engine bay

Yes, that Aston Martin is truly a thing of beauty.

Not much motorcycling going on here.
But we broke trail to ski to the park's trails. Our place past the woods beyond the field.

Closed campground roads, someone had made tracks before we got there. Kinda nice not having to constantly break trail.

But breaking trail keeps you warm!

Looking out from the ranch.

Got some sub zero cold coming tonight but the wood boxes are filled.

Next day I enjoyed the last bit of 395 until I hit freeways for the rest of the ride.

Down 395: The area around Ridgecrest is one of my favorite places to be. Open BLM land - can just ride for hours and hours off road for days on end. I use that as a jump of for multi day camping off the dirt bike in Death Valley too.

Yep. Used to fly up 395 on my way to Kennedy Meadows. I would be driving my Bronco with no top towing a trailer with dirt bikes and a giant, Alaskan Malamute in the passenger seat. We would spend a week riding trails and camping out. No showers. Good times.

What was the temps in Idaho?
I'm hoping to get out on sunday here. It's been too stromy lately and I need to do some testing. But I have not decided which bike???
I live barely north of Boise and my garage Thermo says 53F. Heated jacket not required but darn nice!!! If it’s decent tomorrow may pull out WR250 and do some gravel roads for fun.

You guys have already seen this one.... Right?

That trike reminds me of the new biggest thing here in the States....mini bikes. Thanks to my Grandson, Grandpa (aka: me) has become the newest sponsor and mechanic of said hobby.

Here is my Grandson's and below that is mine that I had to build to keep up with him.

Ah January in Wisconsin...
Didn't QUITE make it to 40F 4C
But it rained an inch last night so that should have washed the roads off.
Buell has heated grips a windshield and the NOCO got r going so off we went.

There were ice fishermen out on the lake.

Yeah about the clear roads thing, not so much, slid the front a time or three at low speed. Just enough to get my attention. Other wise I stayed "warm enough" for I dunno 25 miles? She's gonna need a good scrubbing a-fore spring.
Well that was fun.
panorama shot.
