Just Ride.

Let's hope it reopens fully this year; I want to go back asap.
I’ve been on much of it several times over. The 2010 trip was the only time I did the whole thing and we did it in both directions. Is was very much a memorable journey!

You meet the nicest people on that road. Last time I was there on my KLR650 I encountered a Japanese fellow on his V-Strom DL1000 who said he lived nearby, so the Blue Ridge was his "daily ride" after work. I told him that his bike interested me a lot, and he said, "Take it for a spin!, just be back in 10 minutes or so...".
You don't find trusting folks like that much anymore.
I enjoyed the ride. :bike:

Upper 60's and sunny in Central New York today.
Pulled all of the bikes out of the garage and took them all for a spin.

Then selected the '83 (because it got a new exhaust this winter) for a 4 hour ride to the Southern Tier. All went well, smooth performance and noticeable HP increase from the stock exhaust.

The bike is almost identical to what you called the CT70 in the 70s, which we already called "Dax" back then. It has nothing to do with the modern Honda Dax, but it's also a 125cc. It's built under license in China. On the small, winding roads here, it handles like a go-kart on two wheels 😁
