My name's Tim and I've lurked without an account on and off for... 12 years? I remember finding this forum when I was in college. I had no money then so eventually I thought it would be best to stop dreaming. I don't have much more money now but figured I'd just join. By the way, my username is really does describe me: I pretty much no nothing about motorcycles (not even how to ride one!) but hoping that will change one day.

Welcome nonothing, your in good company some of us know less than nothing😅

Great bikes, might b a bit heavy for someone who has never ridden a bike before, they are generally quite light to ride, as in when moving though
Probably best to ride in a paddock for starters if you get one.

The thing is if you have SOME SORT of place to work on them, with a little networking a free titled bike is not an impossible dream. There are countless bikes loitering in garages of "used to ride" guys. Some/Many would be happy to help a penniless young guy with a good attitude get a start.
Beware; there is no such thing as a "FREE" motorcycle. bwa-ha-ha.
