Xs650 super hard to kick over after adjusting the vavles, after I adjusted the valves on my xs650 the thing is super hard to kick over with the plugs in seems like its getting stuck on tdc when i kick it over with the plugs out it kicks and goes the the rotation just fine but with plugs in super hard to kick please help!!!

Best guess? Timings advanced, or the advance weights are not retracting.
It's possible to set the valves on the "wrong" TDC, that'll make the gap really big. But I'm not sure that'll bump compression so high it'll be hard to kick.
Excess gas or oil in a cylinder can "hydrolock" a piston. Force it enough you can bend a rod.

Not sure its a timing thing havent messed with the timing on this bike changed the oil tightened the cam chain tensioner and then adjusted the valves and now it wont kick over like i was describing before i adjusted those things it kicked over easily and started ran decent now wont barely kick over how can i check if im getting gas in the cylinder? Also how can i recheck these valves and get them set correctly

Is it possible I could have jumped timing through the cam chain when i adjusted the cam chain tensioner?

not very likely and pretty easy to check.
Simplest is with the timing covers off slowly kick through the motor wants to stop about TDC cuz that's where the cam ramps want the valves to stop, is the crank near the fire/TDC mark? your good.
Remove the plugs and kick it through vigorously a few times. It'll spit out most of anything in the cylinder.
plenty of how to set cam chain tension (slack) and valves threads here search is your friend.

have adjusted the valves handfull of times now still kicks over intensely hard and when i can get it to kick over it backfires smoke out the carbs and kickbacks crazy like

Like I suggested that's timing. Most likely It's too advanced or the advance rod is binding
I guess i just dont understand how it would have gotten to advanced when i havent messed with the timing on it only tighten the cam chain and adjusted valves how would that mess with timing

Just throwing this out, not saying it's necessarily the answer, but did you adjust your cam chain too tight? The book says to get the end of the rod even with the end of the adjuster, but that's not necessarily correct, and often results in a chain that is too tight. With a correctly adjusted chain, as you rotate the engine through a full 360 degrees, you should see 1 or 2mm movement in and out on the rod end.

Confused? You should be.

It's new to you and everyone is throwing this that and other things.

They are wrong, or YOU did not tell the whole story...........
Yeah im thinking it has to be my valves or cam chain adjustment because thats all i messed with before it would kick over fine kicks fine with plugs out but feels like it gets stuck on compression

If you have points/advance mech then tightening the cam chain will alter the timing. I think tightening it causes the timing to Edit>retard< (thanks Jim, edited for future clarity). Mine certainly seems to start easier when the timing is a little retarded.

Okay im gonna mesh with cam tensioner try tightening it a bit and if that doesnt do anything try loosening it then back to valves

Trying to adjust timing by changing the cam chain tension is wrong. You correctly adjust the cam chain tension first, and then you adjust timing by rotating the points plate. Rotating the points plate counter-clockwise will retard your timing.
Having a cam chain that is too tight is bad. See my previous post in this thread.
