I have installed a diode and changed to an LED flasher. I followed the instructions on the diode kit, but I do not seem to be getting power to the dashboard indicator light.
Not sure if it helps
But today I was out working on a harness .. Installing a new
Not LED flasher
I could not get the flasher working .
Took the relay in tested it at the Kitchen table with an extra lamp and a battery
No problem
Measured the Voltage at the Relay socket and it turned out the + and - was flipped in the new harness
Moved the leads in the socket .180 degrees and now it works
Looking at your pictures Assuming power coming in I would use a test wire from the ground connector wire with alligator clips both ends and attaching to the cooling fins on the motor or - ( minus ) on battery
