Thank you!!Welcome! Bike looks great.
Thats a lot of fine work there THHere's mine. 1974 TX650 I bought it about three years ago in terrible condition: top crankcase ripped apart, no compression, badly stretched cam chain, drive chain even worse, badly rusted and oxidised.
It's been a long project, not a lot of Yamaha left now. Along the way I've added VM carbs, cooler, remote filter and a PMA. Machined up spin on filter base, extended manifolds, pancake filters, PMA mount, brake block, fuel distributor, chain adjusters, single points cam, hubs, risers, fabricated tail light, side covers, engine mounts, seat, battery carrier, headlight brackets, two harnesses, chain guard, exhaust pipess, mufflers, muffler hangers, pipe brackets. Rebuilt the motor, rebored .50 over, new pistons, cam chain, seals gaskets, bearings, guides, stainless allen's, et al. Laced the wheels with stainless spokes. Done lots and lots of polishing and painted it in two pack paint.
All but finished now, seat covered, tyres fitted, currently hooking up a magnetic sensor speedo.

Welcome aboard! Very nice tracker. Feel free to tell us about it and post photos. After 35 years of riding, this is my first XS… always wanted one, but spent most of my time going too fast or cruising on old gl1000’s…love the personality of the bike!… been tweaking it the last 2 months…

There is nothing about your bike that I don't like, well, except that it's not in my garage.
I'll second the nomination...![]()
Might a be a Calendar looking for that bike....
