That's nice, that's some rake on the forks. How long is the bike ?

I have that tank and side covers,same color, not in as good of condition
The picture flatters it actually. In real life the decals are damaged and the paint faded. The other side is far less pretty.

I will be having the tank and side panels refinished but I need to be happy with the bike overall first and there's more to do than might be apparent from that picture.

I have had one quote for tank and side panels refinishing which was unbelievably expensive. Unless I can get it done a lot cheaper it will just stay damaged actually.

I might have mine restored at some point just because. I don't have a frame to put it in because some a-hole who didn't know any better turned it into a chopper

I feel your pain. In that situation, if the bike was beyond putting back to original I'd probably buy a Metisse frame or something tasteful and classic in it's own right. We still have a few artisan frame builders here in the UK doing great work.

Meantime, doing my little bit to preserve one of the bikes as it should be. But it's never going to be a show queen.
