Can't seem to find one for old cam chain. The eBay one is too big. I looked at mikexs but didn't see it and im emaiing them. The note on there page says it's for a more heavy duty chain. It's another hang up now. Should I just get a new chain altogether? Anyhow it's been a bike fight. Any ideas?

Maybe best get a new chain There are companies making these type chains and can sell them for other industrial Purposes D.I.D
But finding the correct size and company selling one can take some effort and with freight it adds up the cost.
But if you have a major industrial seller close they can maybe get one

Thanks! I think I found a did brand one from partzilla for 7.50 plus 10 shipping. Ill try it first as the euro ones are a lot to ship. It's the 13th an unlucky day to master link.

To Jim nice to see you again. Not sure exactly how many miles on engine since its a 77 on a 74 frame. The 74 meter says 20k. Not sure what bore engine is on but girl I got it from said something about knowing a machinist. It was in in parts so yet to test compression. She said she had it running with the piece to the case jb welded on that's now a hole in old case. Did a case swap and most the seals felt kinda new or at least I'm using them. Maybe engine was rebuilt recently. I doubt it has as much miles as the meter says. Hope it rolls smooth from here on. I'm a little lost on riveting but my dad seems to know how to do it.

Wow thanks. I'm gonna try what I got coming first mainly because I'm unsure about fishing a new chain threw. It would probably twist on me and not fish threw with my luck and don't want to take her apart again. Wish I knew there were thicker chains before hand. Would of got one. Any thoughts on fishing a new chain threw? Ever done it? I guess tie a wire to old chain but not sure if it would twist or how it would go over the gear. Is the new tsubaki chain the heavier grade chain than original?

Finally got my timing chain on after buying new k&l chain and master link. Fished it threw Intire head. We had to hammer rivet with some punches because anvil was too small and too deep so it messed up on the rivet / breaker. Any advice on riveting anvil with the Amazon 20 piece 22 dollar one? Tryed 3 masterlinks on old chain all being too big for chain before just buying a new chain that's beefier. Took a month to get one masterlink from partzilla on back order. Engine is 77. New chain is snug fit too so I don't see any way to get it on besides breaking chain. Took the bearings off one side to get chain to go on easier. Thanks for all help
