Looking to swap out my wheels.

Hey all,

I have and 83 heritage special and my spokes are looking pretty rusty. I am interested in swapping them for a Mag wheels. Does anyone have any experience with that? Would I be able to get some mags off of an earlier model with little issues? I want my bike to be safe and have less maintenance. If anyone has tried a set of Yamaha Maxim xj650 on their xs I would also be interested in that too there seems to be a lot of those available out there for pretty cheap.

I have a set of 81 mag wheels that are an EXACT plug and play onto your bike, will trade, you travel.
tires are JUNK, wheels will clean up decent but are a bit grubby weathered.

My 74 came with two sets of wheels, a spoked set 19"/18" and a an alloy set 19"/16". Bearings, brakes, axle are all interchangeable

Rusty I was thinking the same thing. Gary I was not expecting an offer to trade but I could arrange something. Might take me a few weeks to get up there. Thanks for the fast response guys. Happy to see it will be a fast swap out

That drum rear mag is a bit hard to find as it was only used one year in the US.
