Grrrrrrr ... I got up before dawn.... ripping along the interstate..construction area.. nailed something with the left front wheel... scary sounds... car felt good... no dash warning lights...... but later determined the inner plastic fender was damaged and the cheap azz plastic pop clips failed... inner fender was rubbing against the tire... Grrrrrr... got to Marks and we headed south... he wanted to take his Brit MGB,,,, with Super charger.... we made a couple of stops along the way... then had lunch in Reedsburg .... 5 miles from Soldiers Grove.. I mentioned the event location had a restaurant... we should proceed.. check out the location and grub there... Nope.. Mark wanted Reedsburg .... We get to the motel in Soldiers Grove about 1pm.... that's 13 hrs for you across the pond guys... I assumed we'd stop.. hang around and wait for the Xs guys..... shake hands.. kick tires... Nope.. Mark waited...maybe one minute... and off we went.... WT?.. so 370 miles ( 470 for me )....round trip for..... I was looking forward to a kick azz T shirt... Tip of cap to Brian.... hope he extended a invitation to the WildCat guys to blend in with the Labor Day group....

so, a recap being my phone is not playing nice uploading pics @gggGary showed up Wednesday and we had a fun ride around the region afternoon/evening, Gary led and I happily followed! seen some really cool, sights and rode some awesome roads! @jetmechmarty attempted to ride up from Mississippi but ran into mechanical issues and had to turn around
Hardcore dude made the attempt! tip of the hat to you sir! I will ship your shirt soon! as usual work got in the way. Thursday Gary helped repair my flat front tire (thank Goodness for Gary!!!!!!!! ratchet strap and Gary made a quick repair without too many new 4 letter words had a great breakfast and chased echoer around sw Wisconsin again getting lost. Next time any of you see Gary ask him about the Root beer float and the sticker

Pt.2 So I still cannot get the pics off my phone 
my best friend from high school showed up on his road glide just as I pulled in (way cool timing !!!) we caught up and shot the shit for a bit! texted Gary to see if we wanted company but i did not realize I was stuck in a reception hole ( I got all the txt next morning) 
Jake and i discussed life and hpw i may have led to his bike addiction when we were 16 or 17 yrs old. i loved being blamed or that! So next day no my keyboard is not woring be readt or pt 3

Thread bump, some shots from the driftless yesterday. Was on the hhhHonda so no pics of my ride. And couple from a few days ago.

... visit the Wisconsin Wildcat Mountain Motorcycle Rally F/book site.... some of the old 650 Society guys stull attended... the event has moved from Westby to Reedsburg The F/book site gives details on rooms set aside for the group.... the group can all stay at one location with a restaurant on site.... The Westby location will be missed but the venues we used no longer can handle the group's needs.
thinking the week of the 7th of September how's that work for everyone?

We are going to be in Readstown , Wi at the Apple house inn about 5 miles north of solders grove sept 8 to the 12'th Dad and I have to bail Sat to be elsewhere.Ill let the cat out of the bag here Big Jake and I have been riding together sense our JR or senior year in High School if I remember right. He came down last year on his bagger and we had a blast! He just picked up a special and is getting it sorted out. So anyway, Jake welcome to the forum this place is a valuable resource and full of knowledgeable and good people!
If anyone wants to come on up , down maybe sideways and join us!
