Motogp in Texas this weekend, with eight times world champion Mark Marquez leading the championship on a ducati. last years champion nowhere to be seen, with his brother Alex Marquez, in second place and the 2023 champion, Franciso Baginia in third place.:D

It’s been a Marquez show this year, I’m hoping someone can break it up
Yes, Mark Marquez is doing well! I just watched yesterdays sprint race on yt, very exciting race. Mark wins it with his brother second, with Franciso third. It looks like Franciso Baginia is the only one that can make a difference. to answer your question.

Yup, I am in Austin right now at the Revival Handbuilt MC show with my XS (collecting a lot of accolades too).
Weather is PERFECT for the race. Air temperature in the 80s (°F) and track temperature nice and warm for the tires. Some threat of storms this afternoon but that only adds to the excitement. Because unlike NASCAR, MotoGP doesn't stop a race for some drizzle. :)
Qualification went well yesterday, I saw a lot of "lobsters" show up at the Handbuilt show in the evening. A "lobster" is what we, down here in the south, call people who fail to protect themselves from the strong southern sun by either not applying sunscreen or not wearing any protective layer of clothing. So many burnt up people, it's not funny.
I won't get to watch the race (because I'll be at the show again) but hoping it is great and the best racist wins. :D

I was a lobster once at the La Mans, France, 30 years ago, lol!

Marquez crashes out after leading the race. Giving his brother the championship lead! Baginia second, reduces the points gap.
