VOLVO here in Sweden had the Policy to treat Teenagers well .Buying parts to their old rusted VOLVOS
A big proportion of the Teenagers used
VOLVO " Amazon " 121
and PV 444 and 545

Some got parts from the Scrap Yard ..But some bought factory parts .. from the dealer

The idea was we .perhaps dont make that much money and selling Now But if we treat them well. Come the day the teenager grows up .Higher pay grade He needs a better car .. He come to us talk about it.
Back then they had a service technician /engineer one could call and get expert help.. His name was known ..
Short calls and he gave advice as some experts here on the site do.

Perhaps the first step ..getting a better used one and eventually new cars. Customer relations
I don't think it have changed .But More brands are out there today

Ford made a Canada specific dual cab truck clear back into the 50's at least. They may have been used by the railroads but I'm not sure. I have seen examples of both.
The ones from the late 50's early 60's used the same front and rear doors. The ones with a squarish body, not the ones with the rounded hoods.
Bringing back memories.

And if anyone is curious, there were quite a few Canada only vehicles offered by the "Big Three" such as the Acadian from G.M. and the Meteor and Zephyr from Ford.
