Thought I'd share how I solved the issue of attaching a degree wheel to my VAPE rotor. I guess the pics are pretty much self explanatory. I previously posted how I made the center hole in the degree wheel 65 mm. I also made a pointer from 2 mm TIG welding rod. Hammered flat at the tip for super precision 😁.
Now I just need to make a piston stop that doesn't foul the valves....

When I used my piston stop I backed off my valve adjusters so valves wouldnt open
That's how I did it also. In fact, I think I removed the adjusters. Valves either didn't move at all or just very lightly unseated.... don't recall which. At any rate, valves never fouled the bumper.

My homemade bump stop.

Yep. Just random nuts and bolt I had layin' around. 'Bout anything that fits in there would work. The 1/4" was about perfect as it's a close fit in the hole.
Iirc it was a tad big and I ran a tap through the plug body. Would probably have been OK without welding the nut on the end.

Just had a look... and yes, I tapped some threads on the inside of the plug housing. Looks like it took about 3 threads which is probably why I went ahead and added the nut.
