My 80 heritage special is running on a gonzo, but not very well, it will not run past 5000 rpm and stumbles a bit on the way at 3500.
I recently got out dragged from a stop light by a casually accelerating smart car.
Yesterday, I tried a second Gonzo which didn’t help the problem. Suspecting fuel flow, I swapped the aftermarket non-vacuum petcock back to stock. We’ll see how it runs today. I’m looking at the carbs next. Fun.
