need help with wiring!

1981 xs650

removing old pamco ignition will remove pma charging
i have a boyer micro digital and xscharge pma with boyer battery box 3
dont know if i want to make one out of mikesxs main harness or buy the wires i have no wiring exp and nervous about connectors
ive been looking for wiring diagrams but cant find one with boyer and xscharge..can post pics of the wiring harness

any advice appreciated thanks!

You might do yourself a favor and go to the tech section here. It is at the top of the "garage" page. I am not dismissing you here.

Under Electrical you will find an entry that has 8 or 10 wiring schematics from the various years. Find yours and study it, at least a little bit. Truth be told I just printed my '77 schematic out yesterday as I prepare to do some restoration. Look at the charging and ignition areas of those schematics. When someone responds to your questions you will have a good grasp of what they are talking about.

In this thread you already have a PMA and Pamco Ignition and you don't want to break the bank.

Am i reading this thread right. ...............You are removing the Panco ignition and this means you have to remove the PMA............................. You have bought another PMA and Boyer ignition system with a Boyer battery power box battery eliminator that also eliminates the Reg/Rect that come with the PMA............all up cost is $815.00.
