New front stops (cam chain guides) Beta test sale

Long as the guide thread in the classifieds is back to life...
Thought I'd bump this thread also.
Following picture is from a very low hours project bike I picked up with a "rebuilt" top end. It was smoking like a cigar at a stag show.

Prolly a mikes guide it "looked" reasonably centered in the tunnel.
My guess is the cam was not properly centered. Don't think the wiggle available when mounting the guide could have caused this much side wear in that short a time.

Alright you slackers, who has rolled and is smoking?
Lets hear some action reports!
Gene is right on the cusp of a first report, who else?
Um, never mind my own projects, LOL
Thanks for the reminder, Gary. I installed the guide in my '82 special. Installation went smoothly and the chain noise I had been having disappeared. It's a great product. A big thumbs up from Houston.

Great, thanks!

I actually came across his site this last week while looking for misc stuff, but there was no info on the guide so I assumed it was the same as Mikes. Glad I saw this thread!

Looks like the first class parcel shipping to Ireland beat priority mail to Australia... At least @650Skull hasn't weighed in that he's gotten his yet...

Checked the tracking yesterday..............international freight is problematic due to covid..............could be up to 25 days
