New in VA

Hi,

Just saw the site and had to check it out. I am building a bobber project that I started last summer but didn't finish because of a move and it stayed with the X-wife. I got it now and am going to finish it.

I already welded the TC bros hardtail on and have both a stock set of wire wheels with a drum and a set of mags with disk brakes that I will probably mod down the road to install. Right now I just want to focus on getting it finished and running.

Anyone know where to get a factory wiring harness for an 81 or a wiring diagram? I can wire it up if necessary but it would be nice to find a harness.

Also, I am going to run 1" bars and need new hand controls, any leads on getting a set would he helpful as well. Cheap is king.

Any other help would be greatly appreciated, I will post some pics as it goes along.

Welcome! My vote is to stick with the wire wheels! I think they look much better.

If you already have it hardtailed, I wouldn't spend too much time cutting up a new stock wiring harness, but you want one, they can be had for $79 at mikesxs http://www.mikesxs.net/products-78.html#products
