Hello everyone, I joined about 2 weeks ago and look forward to making some new friends in the XS650 community! A little about myself, I have been riding for over 60 years and yes I'm in my early 70's, I have owned bikes from almost every manufacturer. I bought my first XS650 in1980, a 1977 that I rode until 1982 when raising a family took president. I have always enjoyed the XS650 and recently purchased 2, a 1980 special and a 1982 Heritage special along with a 1979 motor Both bikes need a lot of work and this is where I was hoping you could help me find parts and guide me through the building process I look forward to hearing from everyone.

Hey Carl welcome. For parts there are a lot. 650central, xs650 direct, mikesxs (although not the preferred go to) as well as many others I may be missing. You can find the answers to every question you could possibly have as well as questions you don’t even know you had!
