I just became the proud owner of a blue '76 XS650C. I have been riding since I was 16, (in 1969), and now live in California. I have always considered the 650XS close to the ideal machine for most type of riding, and I was looking for a close to original example. So, I bought the one in the photos below form a Facebook Market place ad. The seller is probably a member of this forum, but I don't know for sure.

I am looking forward to learn everything I can from the masters on this website. Cheers!

Welcome!
I've got a '76, as well. It was my first XS.

.

Thank you all for the warm welcome!
In 1977, I was briefly the owner of an XS750 Triple, but an international move required me to sell the bike after 6 months. Big, hefty machine, and a little overwhelming for my scrawny 135 lb. body at 23 years of age.
My XS 650 now feels way more agile, and I am in no way better shape at 71........The bike feels perfect for me.
