Hello, new to Forum. Wow, a lot of great info here for a newb. I was fortunate enough to buy the exact motorcycle my uncle taught me to ride on in the 80’s a few years back. I finally have garage space now and it’s time to make her look and run as she should. A bit shy hiding in the middle I guess (in pic). One question if someone has a moment. This is a 74TX650A, it has bosses on both forks for calipers. Is this original?

We'll need a lot more detailed pics than that if we're gonna I D it. Full side views, instruments, front wheel and brake... the more pics the easier to identify. Give us the VIN. You can blur out the last 4 numbers if you're paranoid about that sort of stuff. With the VIN we can fairly easily tell you what it is.

Welcome. 74TXA had provision for calipers on both legs. Hard to see in the ppic, I see a brown paint job.

Everything I see says 74.
In fine nick to boot!
gauges ally disk flange cover paint etc.
Mufflers look like repo early mufflers and there's not a thing wrong with that!
