Hello Everyone,

I am fairly new to building choppers, I have several friends that have built harley choppers, shoves, irons, etc. and now I want to do my own but with an xs650. I recently purchased a fenland Sportster 6" Chopper Frame ( https://www.fenlandchoppers.co.uk/main link page/ ). I know I will be doing a Northern Spring front end (https://northernspringers.com/products/offset-northern-springer?variant=42293250130116 ), but know I am deciding on the rims, and wheels. I believe I will be doing a 21" wheel in front and I believe a 16" rear in the back, 2.15 wide. Would this be correct? The spacing of the back part of the frame for the rear tire is 22 cm wide at the top and 24.5 cm where I would mount the rim.

Yes, welcome to the site. Good choice, building an XS650 chop and the Fenlands frame is a good starting point. I'm coming to the final stages of my xs650 (actually 750 rephased) chop build, which uses a Fenlands 32mm bar hopper frame. I've designed my own short springers and the bike will have front and rear 16" wheels with Avon 5.00x16 tyres, so the chunky look.
All the best for your build and keep posting pics.
