Looked at the factory guide and somewhere around an ohm between the two yellows when disconnected from the regulator should be about right. Open circuit or a high number would prolly mean you've found the problem.
Haven't seen the numbers, but guessing the ignition coils are wound to create a higher voltage on this and the vape units as compared to the "lighting" coils with the yellow wires.
