Ok guys 1981 650 special bike was running great put it in the living room for winter. Wheeled it out last week it started then died and now has no spark. I did the simplified wiring on it. I had to replace the battery and replaced the coil as it wasn’t homing out thought awesome now it will start nope. So here I am I have power at the primary coil if I connect a test light to the primary side and crank I can see the light dim with the cranks. So i then moved to the brushes they have power. Next checked to make sure the tci ignition has power and it does. Just checked the ohms at the 3 leads of the field coil they tested around .700 ohms so should be close ish. I’m starting to think maybe my tci shit the bed
