No start/ dead stop kick

So, let's get more specific: does the kicker stop hard at horizontal [well before it hits footpeg (assuming you have stock footpeg)]? Once that happens, can the motor continue to roll CCW by hand, or what happens?

Has motor been rephrased?
No the motor hasn’t been rephrased just built with new pistons and rings. Ya i put my biggest boots on ( mountaineering boots) and kick the shit out of it and it kicked back (hurt worse). From there yes, i rotated the engine by hand CCW with no problem.
Can you kick it through, with the ignition switched off?
Yes the engine kicks through nice with ignition off. I’m about to put a starter back in this thing, haha
Who’s gonna tell me to quite being a sissy and kick it like a man?
So kick back… try to retard the timing??

Small adjustments. Just remember that 10° at your module is gonna be 20° of crank rotation. CCW a few degrees at a time.

Before you kick it, put it in 2nd gear and roll it back until it stops against compression, slip it back into neutral then give the kicker a good hard shove. Positioned that way, you have at least a half turn of the crank to get things moving before it hits compression.
