Can anyone tell me the difference, between the OEM & the Heiden sump filter, and is the Heiden filter re-usable.

Yes, both get cleaned and reinstalled. The OE style filter is prone to tearing. The Heiden filter is supposed to have defeated that.
Someone else will have to answer regarding micron filtration level.
