Oil Leaks - 1978 XS Special

Oh, hi, Marty. And GLJ, hope you're feeling as normal as possible. We're thinking about you!

Yep! I hit a bat on the XS11 near Dahlonega with my daughter on the bike. It got caught up in the cables on the right handlebar, near the switchgear. Probably a 50+ mph strike.

 

[Its been a long time]

Riding a country road on my way home one night on my 1100 Gold Wing and had a glancing blow on my helmet from a large owl. I was travelling maybe 60mph and I suspect that the owl had seen supper in the grass verge across the road from where I happened to have been at exactly the time he or she decided to launch in the hunt for supper. Luckily it was a glancing blow and neither me nor the owl were harmed. I guess supper had a lucky escape that night.
