Petcock valve

My 1980 yamaha xs650 petcock valve is starting to leak even on the off postion and its leaking all over my carburetor, any suggestions? Do i buy New valve? or rebuilt kit?

Try taking it apart and flipping the rubber disc. If that doesn’t work I’ve had good luck with the replacement parts.
