Rainy Day..............been a year for that this year.

Going through this thread and thought about how most, all actually, of my pics can do with some slight editing. Find i am doing it to all my pics and trying not to make them look as though they have been.

Loved the radial engine in this pic of @Jim wondered if a bit of editing would change it. Did a sharpen, -10 on brightness, +10 on contrast and +10 Saturation. Put it side by side, (joined), with the original pic.

I should have written: respectfully request.

Does reducing the pic size when posting help with the download. Can b done by grabing the corner, (Before reply posting), pulling it down to a smaller pic, (like i done with the joined Radial engine),. Then when it is clicked on it brings it back up to full size without having to open it up in a new tab

People like me don’t think of that. Since you pointed it out, I will from now on.
Pic size can be reduced by clicking onto it after it has loaded, it is surrounded by a brown boarder. Drag the corner down till it i half, or required size. Doing it this way it will download on a low connection. It will blow up to almost full size then when you click on it, click again it goes to full size. I have trouble with low connection at times as well. When i have a slow connection it takes an age for the thumbnail to load through the site program or if i open it in another tab.

Thank you for that, I didn't know how. Will give it a try next time

Continuing our Great Lakes Tour we are staying at a national park near Oscoda. It is in the Huron National Forest. Most of the trees in this part of the state are young due to the heavy presence of logging in the early part of last century. There was even a monument to the lumberjacks. Just goes to show even then you had a guy on the phone.lolIMG_7303.jpeg this whole area is based around the AuSable (ah/sa/bo) river. We spent the afternoon at Iargo springs ( eye/arg/o) sorry for the interpretations but these are Native American names and will fool ya. The springs were used as a clean water source for the area lumbermen, trappers and area natives.IMG_7319.jpegIMG_7324.jpegIMG_7318.jpeg It was only 300 steps to get down to them.IMG_7327.jpeg
