No camping anymore for this old body. Cheap motels and couch surfing. Tools, clothes, and too much photography gear on the bike.

Found a cool old-time negative mounted on a block of wood, at a lawn sale last weekend.
Most of my best pics, to me, are of my granddaughter so I won't rehash that subject. 
Lots of bike pics but you have all seen many of those. A friend ran dirt ovals for years but decided to go course racing 5 or 8 years ago. He builds his cars and knows NASCAR style builds so he runs essentially a NASCAR style car against Porsches and Corvettes in Group 7(?) and decided to enter Vintage by building a 72 Chevelle.
My friend from grade school, lived across the street. Brian was a so so student but we had adventure at the beach and on the water fishing and water-skiing. His dad sold the die casting (automotive and marine parts) company 25 years ago and Brian runs whatever he wants these days from historic Ferrari F1 cars to these with his son.
Spending so much time on the water, I occasionally get a moonrise or sunset capturing the changing weather. We raced Wednesday nites for 25 years but you are pretty busy on a race boat and only occasionally capture a view.

Love that Chevelle... tip-of-the hat to your buddy if he built that car from scratch! Having built a tube-framed oval-track car, I can really appreciate the levels of effort, knowledge and skill that go into that sort of an undertaking.Most of my best pics, to me, are of my granddaughter so I won't rehash that subject.

Honestly, i think you should have made a thread. Could have posted pics when you needed something to boost you up.
In fact any pics of your granddaughter, (i'm sure you have a few), are welcome. I know the pain will never stop but the good moments will last forever and that that moment in time brings joy.
He posted on FB when he started. A rusted body shell he cut the lower 1 1/2 foot off He runs NASCAR 15" wheels giving up tons of braking to the 18-20" wheels. He built a Miata for his wife to race. He ran Winged Super Modified and Late Model Sportsman for years and always had sponsors. He builds and sell chassis and is a really nice guy.
It does still hurt but pics that mean a ton to me might be "just another little girl" to everyone else. Each pic is a point in time of her development or personality. We were selective with what was on the TV when she was in the house (5-6 days aweek) and she was always learning new things. Here the innocence is captured.
I do occasionally get spectacular sunsets off my back deck.
Most everybody has this same picture with thier little one...
True black and white. Bought the bike on 1990, did a 6 week Photography course on developing film. took this shot not long after getting the bike and developed the photo myself.
The front panel says it’s a 1970 Chevelle. Just sayin’. It looks like a work of art.
