I'm not a member of the CVMG, just don't have the time for another commitment, but I understand most members are British bike owners. Not a lot of Japanese product. I think Maxpete is a member of the group from the Windsor, ON area that brought most of these and if he checks in here might provide more info on that.
What better way to start the bike pics than to celebrate Fredintoon’s upcoming birthday with pics of a sidecar rig.
A 1970 Chang Jiang CJ750 M1M
And the 39 Nimbus you could see in the background. I understand these were built in Denmark for the Danish military. This bike is currently tagged and ridden.
For those who have followed the adventures of Maxpete, you may recall him talking about a buddy of his who built a tank tumbler for cleaning rusty gas tanks. This is the 72 Norton Commando 750 that buddy finished restoring last year.
I have pictures of all the bikes seen here and can add more to this thread if there is interest, but for now will close it off with an old Matchless.
More pics to come of some 'real' rare bikes and Caddies in further posts.
