Hi all,

I recently built my engine, having replaced the crank and connecting rods with one out of a donor.

When idling low, the crank seems to make a decent amount of noise. When building it, I did check over the bearings and crank, and found that they met spec for wear.

I’ve linked a video of it running and am hoping to get an opinion or two on the sounds. I understand these are noisy machines but learning the threshold of which has provided me a lot of stress.

Pretty new to it all. If it needs to be rebuilt again so be it, really just looking to have fun wrenching and learn.

Cant hear anything either mechanical sounds
But it is not running perfectly 100 % even there Ignition timing check and carb synchronization would be a first if want it perfect.
But is minor perhaps not worth chasing but the strobe light check is quick and something I would do.
A bit more rev would give more info
Ah, yes. This was in the middle of doing timing and a synch. Keep wandering away so I’ve been needing to service frequently.
Has also been sitting for a bit and the battery isn’t super charged, always makes it idle worse.
