Rear Disc Brake Rotor Conversion 1978 XS650

I have a 1978 XS650 with a 19 inch wheel conversion kit from Omars I have a stock 19 inch wire front mounted on the rear. I would like to know if I can mount a stock SR 500 5 mm disc on the rear hub so I can use a Brembo Caliper which from what I've read, can accommodate up to 5mm thickness. I would appreciate any help or suggestions as far as other discs I could use. Also, if anyone has any ideas which Basic Brembo Caliper would work, it would be appreciated Thanks. Bill

My suggestion would be Brembo P32 or P34 caliper as used on countless Italian and other bikes.
