The brake rod and other stuff on the TX has seen better days, not to mention the clevis fitting is just rubbish so I replaced it all with stainless gear I machined up: Clevis, rod, adjuster nut and pivot. Shame the clevis can't be seen as the clevis is a nice looking piece of machining in stainless. I also made a brake anchor to replace Yamaha's ugly duckling.
Haven't got around to making any chain adjusters yet, the originals are badly rusted, so I'll have to hunt around for some 2mm stainless plate. Although, I just had a thought, perhaps I could machine some up from aluminium, they'd look nice and chunky and save me the trouble of trying to bend stainless up into tight bends. I've done it once before on a Triumph, but it was bloody difficult.
