As you guys know I had been making an extended swingarm. The prototype is with my partner and going onto our brat build for testing. These should be available soon for orders. Bronze bushings used and 3 lower mount locations for the shocks.

I did reinforce all joints with extra plate. If you are in any of the Facebook groups you have seen this already, but I know some people here aren't.
 
I like the fabrication of that, and the overall stance of that bike. Looks like it'll be a ripper. :rock:

But I have to ask, is that low carbon steel tubing or 4130?

It's not chrome molly. It's .120 wall DOM 1x2. Axle plate was designed by myself. It's the prototype.

Also the brat seat portion is from one of my kits. That's also .120 wall DOM.
 
I was impressed in the fab work. I've always wanted to hardtail my '77.

But scoliosis and 2 blown discs say I need to keep springs, so I'll keep this thread in mind.
