Results: Mecham vintage motorcycle auction in Las Vegas 2022

The auction is still going today, but most of the bikes have already been on the block. There were tons of Harleys and early Indians, really old vintage stuff that is just collector stuff, I’m more attracted to the stuff you can ride. Here is a smattering of results,

Expensive
without knowing the mechanical status of the bikes
The sub 500 cc Honda's one can take a Zero off here i believe ...No interest normally
The Bonneville 68 type i believe I can find for a factor 2 - 3 less Not mint of course
Large HD s older types are expensive here also $ 25 000 but those are sought after and is likely not go down in price

Nice to se a Munch Mammoth only seen them once or twice in my life on the street .. so that is probably a museum bike a $ 82 000 with rare parts and service possibilities i believe .. Bill Gates into Bikes lately ??

thanks for posting the results up , the vegas auctions always seem to bring the big money so its intresting to see the trends of the money people and collectors , the xs650 s seem to bring realistic prices for the states (from what we see in oz ) but some of the others the prices are all over the place , what should have got better money went cheapish and some that should have been cheaper brought big money eg the cbx s ,dealer last couple of yrs imported a few and sold them for au$ 12-14 thou in resonible cond.. ie ..use straight away on the rd ... one things for should if ever win lotto will be over there with a couple of containers waiting ... any idea on what the easy rider style bike bought , they were selling a big story with it

Replica Captain America.... went to 100K... didn't make reserve.
so the story sold it big time , just not big enough ... wasnt even one of the ones used in the movie , just a look alike with a story as forks were different and had a disc front end .. thanks for the info .. would have kept me awake all night wondering ... wasnt expecting to bring that sort of bids though
