Unfortunately, no. That's too deep to dress out.
Yeah I figured, I went through a half dozen fuses trying to start that bike before I looked at the charging system and saw all that copper glitter, That wasn't me by the way, the PO used one incorrect fastener on those brush holders
 
Received my 72 rotor back from Jim today. 🤩.I used the oil filter wrench advice to torque from when I did my 75b.Amazing workmanship and quick service.Thank you Jim

1.Here is the third rotor Jim rewound for me.
2.Unfortunately I forgot to tighten it down.
3. No problem as he did another quick turn around!

Just to document it here, this is another case of a Chinese rotor causing the TCI system to start missing at anything above idle. For some reason, the Chinese rotor allows interference between the TCI magnet and the rotors magnetic field. I suspect it's because of poor quality control on the copper slip rings.

Anyway, going back to the the stock rotor (rewound) fixed it. That makes at least a half dozen cases now. The TCI system and the Chinese rotors just don't play nice together.
