I will order one when I get this one off. I prefer my part back if rebuildable.
Jim’s rotor rewind service is second to none. Every time I buy a 650, I automatically send him the rotor regardless if it’s good or not. EVERY stock rotor will eventually fail.Sure looks that way, I need to order some parts from one of the vendors on here and will include a rotor puller
in that order. Anything specific to look for that would cause rotor insulation failure? It does not look like
it overheated, no burnt smell. At one point this bike had hard bags with extra tail lights and a vetter
style front fairing with extra running lights. Maybe extra load over time? I plan on going over all parts
of circuit anyway, just looking for likely culprits.
At the rate Jim is working there will come a time when he has all the XS650 rotors rewound and then what will he do with all the free time!Jim’s rotor rewind service is second to none. 10,000 comedians out of work, and.....He could always take up painting. I hear it’s therapeutic.

Triumphs you say? Send pics!I ordered a puller, never can have enough tools. (G) Really good information on the regulator and rectifier upgrade.
More stuff to search for, but that's part of the fun isn't it? I still have three running Triumphs so this can sit till
I sort it out. Thanks for your help and I'll contact you when I'm ready to ship rotor.

Thought so. I've owned a few of 'em. Fun little sports carsYes a 1967 MGBGT.
So all Hinckley Triumphs...I was hoping for some Meridan bikes. Oh well...Yes a 1967 MGBGT. The Triumphs are front to back: 2004 Bonneville, 2018 Street Twin
and 2000 Speed triple.
Oh yes, man...I had an OIF 650 Bonneville just like that! Same paint, except where your scallops are black, mine were white with a black pinstripe outline! You mean like this?View attachment 377431
