As far as checking runout, you could rig up a way to do it on the crank... but wouldn't know if the crank or rotor has the runout. Here's how I check runout...

Four Cylinder Fever seems to be spreading.
Adjusting two carbs is enough for me.
....altho the synchronization of the quad fuel injection on my FJ1300 is kinda fun......
