If you’ve never seen Samantha Fish perform , you gotta check her out. She’s a blues rock player singer ( from Kansas City ) she was about 30 years old in this video. She’s got a lot of content on YouTube , some polished videos but I think she’s at her best performing live when she’s wailing on her jagged, distorted, four string cigar box guitar. She’s the real deal!

I saw her sister, Amanda Fish play a juke joint right here in Coldwater, Mississippi. No more than 20 people in there. Absolutely, awesome! I’m sure I posted it here a few months ago.

At The Acapella last night for The Blockheads.
Band formerly fronted by the sadly departed Ian Dury. My goodness can these guys play, amazing post Punk / Funk.
Chas Jankel still leads this outfit with a few of the original members, but a new front man that does a sterling job.

As you can see this tiny venue makes for a brilliant atmosphere; the place was bouncing.
