Today I got a personal message from FortNine on YouTube………..not really.:cautious:

I’ve actually received variations of that same message from others.

I also noticed that Itchy Boots had a new video out, and she felt it necessary to add this disclaimer,

Scammers seemingly scour users YouTube subscriptions and then try to suck them into a scam by sending out seemingly innocent messages from accounts they follow.

Why do criminals use Telegram?
The largest of those groups had as many as 20,000 members. The platform, which allows users to send encrypted messages to each other and groups, is popular among criminals because they can hide their identity behind anonymous usernames, according to U.S. law enforcement officials.Feb 6, 2023

It’s a jungle out there!
:cussing:

Frustrating isn't it? I also got one of those messages from Fortnine about a month ago. At first I was all excited that Ryan and the gang was contacting me and then I realized it was a scam.
